hii! it's me again!
so, i've been spending a lot of time on netflix,
(if you don't know what it is, look it up.
i don't feel like explaining. :-P) and i recently found
this show called "Fruits Basket",
and it is TOTAL AWESOMENESS! i mean seriously,
it's good. it's about a family called the Sohma's,
who are under a curse. each of them is possesed
by the spirits of the chinese zodiac, so that
when they are under stress, or are hugged by members
of the opposite gender, they transform
into the animal of the chinese zodiac whose year they were born under.
the story is that a girl called tohru, stumbles upon them while living
in a tent, and soon ends up living with them. so i watched the
entire season, (theres only one. waaahh!) and after that i was still
craving more. until i found out that the show came from a
Shojo Manga series! (look up what that is. i don't feel like explaining.)
it turns out, that while there are 23 books in the series,
the tv show only covered the first eight, so i'm
looking forward to reading more. yay! you guys should really read it.
i have no doubt that you can find it at your local library,
as did i. okay, now to blabber on about documentaries.
i also found a lot of documentaries on netflix,
and found that it is my favorite genre. they are very informative,
especially this one i found called "dogs decoded."
in the movie, it tells us:
Dogs may bark solely to communicate with us.
A corporation in i-don't-know-where has been working
for half a century to domesticate silver foxes,
and has so far succeded.
if dogs were not domesticated, modern civilization
would not be possible. (watch it to find out why!)
and so, i end my post. goodbye, goodbye!
*blows kisses to the crowd*
oh, and before i go, the winner of the last poll was pencil.
pencil, give yourself a big hand! yay.
now please direct your attention once more in the
direction of the polls...
