BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a lot of bugs in our house latley.
it started when my friend gave me a monarch caterpillar who i named simon. monarchs are my favorite!
then one day we discovered that there is a cricket in our backroom, who i named camren.
then, (this is funny, guys!) we went to the farmers market and on one of the cabbages we found the cocoon of a cabbage moth. they let us take home the leaf it was on. i named the cocoon sally.
finally, today when mom was watering the plants, she noticed a caterpillar on the parsley.
long story short, its a Black Swallowtail, (moms favorite!) whom i call selena.
also, i have a spider-plant outside called courtney, right? well today it sprouted a long stem
(roughly 24 inches) with pretty white flowers, some still budding. i'm starting to doubt that its a spider plant because i've never heard of them doing that. if you have, or if you know what kind of plant it is, please comment!!!!!!!

Ok. today i showed my dad that i was reading 20,000 leauges under the sea,
and i told him i had found three new words for my collection (now with 217 words!)
so we started looking up pictures of wierd fish. (wait for it!)
but then my mom asked what a league was, and we looked it up. pretty soon, we were looking up interesting words and stuff on the internet. heres some pretty impressive ones.

Bugs and Challah.

last night i had the wierdest dream.
i was trying to raise baby animals in a jar, see?
well actually, they were snails, and bugs called ravens that sting you. but then the raven bugs got out, and i chased them until i found this valley, full of talking animals in bunk beds. then, for some reason, the whole dream shifted to the topic of raisin challah.

Tape and feet.

hi hi hi! OMG i haven't posted in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long.
ok, well maybe i'm exaggerating just a little.
nah, probably not.
anyway, last month, or possibly earlier,
we were going to the park with my cousin nate. (and at the same time introducing him
to my friend K and her kids L A E and R.) so when we leave, we get in the car.
i'm sitting in the front to make room for owen and nate.
i try to shut the door, but it won't shut all the way. one more time,
and we realize it's broken. so i have to squeeze myself into the backseat while mom tapes
and ties the door shut. so we drive to the mechanics, drop off the car, and walk home.
also, while we were walking, owen (and possibly nate too) had his shirt pulled up over his head,
made up to look like a turban. why? we were stuck trekking the desert to get home
because our camel had a meltdown and had to be dropped off at the trainers.

another thing that happened:
recently i realized that my shoes had shrunk.
a quick examination showed that my feet are now bigger than mom's.
cool, huh?

Exercise.

Hi everyone! remember i told you about my futon? and i think i told you that
dad hurt his ankle
carrying it, right? so, up until yesterday, he was using crutches, so now, since he isn't,
I'm going to try and use them as much as possible, for exercise.
on another note, did anyone out there know that Ben Franklin was the only founding father to get into a sports hall of fame? why? he only discovered the benefits of exercise and revouloutinized swimming by inventing swim flippers.

does anyone else remember the first post?

Hi everybody! I'm new here so lemme tell you a little about me.i am nine years old and my favorite pastime is web surfing.i also enjoy writing stories about my made up characters Mr. slippery, jubjub and sound effects girlplus the occasional guide. i'm a huge social kind of person and my idea of a REALLY fun time is reading or just hanging out with some friends!

i wasn't big on punctuation or grammer back then.
does anyone else realize that a blog is way better than a diary?
2 reasons:

1. you're actually talking to someone
2. it's easier to write with a keyboard

huh.

Futon

I have a futon now. it is extra wide, but not double,
but it's a little short. it's actually more comfortable then a regular bed,
and i especially like that it's so near the floor. i enjoy beds that deviate from the average.
such as the loft i got when i was 7, and the futon i'm using now.
on another note, i'm writing a new book. it's called "Sienna Bloom and the Pendant of Lightforest." i got the idea from a dream.
